Jim: Hello! My name is Jim Hawkins. I am a main character of the book TREASURE ISLAND by Robert Louis Stevenson.
Robert Louis Stevenson was a Scottish novelist, poet, essayist and travel writer. His best-known books include Treasure Island, Kidnapped, and Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.
Treasure Island is an adventure novel, narrating a tale of "pirates and buried gold". Treasure Island is known for its atmosphere, characters and action.
The influence of Treasure Island on popular perceptions of pirates is enormous, including treasure maps marked with an "X", schooners, the Black Spot, tropical islands, and one-legged seamen carrying parrots on their shoulders.
Now we are swimming to find the treasures and get very rich.
It is the third day of the voyage. You can see the apple-barrel. There are some apples in it. I want to eat one and get into the barrel.
(The Pirates come in.)
Barbecue : Were you a captain of the buccaneers? Silver: No, not I. Flint was the captain, I was a quartermaster. Barbecue : Oh, Flint was a man! Silver: Would you like to be a pirate? Barbecue : Yes, I want to be a pirate! Silver: We`ll capture the ship, we`ll kill Doctor Livesey and Squire Trelawney. You will be a pirate too! You will have much gold.
Barbecue : But look here's what I want to know, Silver: how long are we going to stand off and on like a blessed bumboat? I've had almost enough o' Captain Smollett; he's hazed me long enough, by thunder!I want to go into that cabin, I do.I want their pickles and wines, and that.
Silver: I'll finish with them at the island, as soon's the blunt'son board.Do you hear me?I’ve seen a thing or two at sea, I have.
Barbecue :When do we  lay them athwart, what are we going to do with them, anyhow?
Silver:Only one thing I claim—I claim Trelawney. I'll wring his calf's head off his body with these hands, Dick!
Barbecue:Well and now let’s drink.
Silver:But you're never happy till you're drunk.
(The pirates are singing Fifteen men on a dead man's chest. Jim runs away.)
